Reciprocating Pumps

We design, engineer, and ship artificial lift systems and oilfield production equipment worldwide.

02

Every chemical pump, oil pump, or water pumping environment is unique.

Each has its engineering challenges and specifications.

Which is why we custom design and engineer artificial lift systems for our customers and deliver worldwide.

Our reciprocating pump diagram highlights parts of the rod lift system we supply. The rod lift diagram also indicates what we engineer for specific needs in the field worldwide.  Also called pump jacks, these sucker rod lift systems extract oil using sucker rod lift or beam pump technologies in wells nearing the end of their productive life.

History and a Promise

Since 1977

Backed by over half a century of handshaking and deal-making, beginning with founder Bob Gibbs, Power-Flow supplies independent oilfield operators with dependable sales and service.  We’ve assembled and shipped reciprocating pump packages from our facility in Texas to points between Australia and Uzbekistan, from the Russian tundra to the tropics of Indonesia.

“Power-Flow is big enough to handle all of your oilfield Production needs, yet small enough to offer personal service."

Ken Gibbs

Yes! PULSATION is a consistent issue for reciprocating pumps and can damage its inner workings and longevity. Fortunately however, mitigating pulsation is possible with the right dampeners or snubbers.

We can help:

  • Our Engineers evaluate the characteristics of your reciprocating pump; determining bore, stroke, and pressure to select the appropriate pulsation dampener or snubber.  These specs determine the methods for reducing fluctuations in fluid flow through the pump.
  • Equipment Dealer: Power Flow is a direct dealer with the manufacturers of snubbers and dampeners, which can reduce pulsations from 45% down to as low as 2%, helping protect downstream piping and instrumentation.
  • Power Flow’s engineers solve your math problems with customization and precision when your horse bucks you off the saddle.

Yes! Power Flow helps our customers mitigate wellhead gas byproduct in the following ways:

  • We design systems that utilize compression and filtration equipment to clean up the wellhead gas, before it’s used to power engines and compressors in the field. This inclueds using coalescing filters to remove impurities like water, heavy hydrocarbons, and other contaminants.
  • The cleaned and compressed wellhead gas can then be used to power Arrow Engine’s natural gas engines and compressors, rather than being flared off and being wasted in the atmosphere.
  • This process of capturing and utilizing the wellhead gas, rather than flaring it, provides a more environmentally-friendly and cost-effective solution for oilfield operators.

Often referred to as christmas trees, wellheads manage the control of oil and gas flow from a well.

Wellheads handle either just gas or both gas and crude oil coming up from the well.

Oilfield operators depend on specific wellhead design, customization done by our engineering expert. The pressure and flow characteristics of each well are unique, as no two wells are exactly the same.

Proper wellhead design and equipment is critical to the safety and control of the high-pressure flow.

Power Flow International’s engineers have multiple decades of experience, supplying our customers’ needs since the seventies.  We’re well-schooled in the the unique qualities of oil and gas wells.
